• How do I find out if my phone has WAP? Most mobile phones made in the last four years have WAP access. It will either be an option on your front screen or on your keypad, made obvious that the option leads you to WAP, or you will find it in your menu under services. For specific instructions on how to access WAP via your particular model of phone, try visiting your service provider’s website and search under their help pages. • How do I get to a WAP site? You can either go to your service provider’s home screen, scroll down to ‘search’ and enter our WAP address (wap.eroticpurple.com), or in your menu, find ‘Go to URL’ or ‘Go to address’ and enter the above address there. • What Is JAVA? JAVA is a system that your phone uses to allow it to download and read anything that you order, i.e. games and applications. • How do I find out if my phone has JAVA? Virtually all modern phones have JAVA included. Check in your phone manual or with your service provider if you’re still unsure. • Will your service work on all mobile phone networks? It should do! As long as your phone can access WAP sites, you will be able to access us. If you can’t access the internet, contact your service provider. • Once I have found your site, how do I bookmark it? This works very much as your PC does. Your phone will give you an option within the menu to create a bookmark or a web shortcut for any page that you want to get straight to. This means that, the next time you come to our site, you can choose in your menu to go straight to us, rather than starting the process from the beginning. We recommend that you bookmark the ‘enter your PIN number’ page on our site, to save you time in future visits! • Why do I need PIN number, user name and password for your site? The PIN number that we will ask you for is simply to allow you to have speedy access to our WAP site. We do not want you to have to spend time entering long names and passwords into your mobile every time you wish to use our site on your phone! You will need to give us a user name and password when you start to use our service, for security reasons. This ensures that your account is safe and unable to be accessed by anybody else. • What are credits and why do you use them? A credit is simply a pre-decided, set amount of money. On our site one credit has the monetary value of 50p. See ‘Paying With Credits’ in 'How Does It Work?' for further explanation. We like to use credits instead of cash sums for many reasons. Firstly, it keeps things simple for both us and you! Once you are using our site regularly, you will know that a Text Template will cost you one credit, a Fun From Your phone two credits, and a piece of Erotic Literature three credits. It also makes it easier for us to give you discounts for purchasing bundles of credits. It allows you to see very clearly the extra value you are getting when purchasing a larger bundle. (Browse Credit Bundles.) Lastly, we want you to feel comfortable using our site. We don’t like the idea of ‘cold hard cash’ changing hands! By using credits rather than monetary values, we feel the site has a far softer, feminine feel… we hope you agree! • What sort of payment do you accept? We will accept credit card, debit card, Pay pal and Premium rate messaging. Please see ‘How Does It Work?’ in the menu bar for further information. • Why do I have to pay a 25p surcharge with my debit card? We are charged this amount for each debit card transaction that we accept. Because of the very low prices attached to our products, we can not afford to carry this extra cost, and therefore have to pass it on to our customers… sorry! • What are automatic downloads? When you have become accustomed to our site, and know that you wish to use it regularly, we want to save you time. By selecting ‘Automatic Downloads’ you will be able to choose from a selection of download times for you to receive either Erotic Literature or Fun from Your Phone automatically. The price of each download will be deducted from your account balance. • How do I purchase a product via my computer on your WEB site? As you will see upon entering our site and registering, all purchasable products have a ‘tab’ below them which will allow you to purchase and download them. If you are purchasing a Story, or Phone Fun you will receive a text message from us, taking you to our wap address on your phone, to allow you to download your purchase. When purchasing a Text Template, you can either choose to enter your loved one’s phone number, and it will be sent directly to them (but with your number attached, not ours) or the message will be sent to you, for you to send on. • How do I purchase a product via my phone on your WAP site? As when you are viewing our products on your website, when using our wapsite on your phone, you will see ‘tabs’ below each purchasable item, allowing you to purchase them. For Stories and Phone Funs, once you have pressed the ‘download’ tab, you will be led through a series of instructions to allow you to do so immediately. You will not receive a text message from us, because you are already on the wapsite at the right address! Purchasing a Text Template works in the same way as on your computer when visiting our website, see above. • Why do I have to enter my address when purchasing credits? Strictly speaking, we don’t need to know your address when you are purchasing credits from us. However, we will also in the near future be offering merchandise for sale, and will obviously need your address for this! The form is therefore a standard one that will allow our customers to do either of these things. • My purchased Text Template/download link message did not arrive. Sometimes, excessive traffic on the mobile network may slow down the process of you receiving your message. If, however it has not arrived after 15 minutes, please let us know by going to the ‘Contact Us’ option in the menu bar. • Why do I have to use international format to enter phone numbers? The service provider that we are using to send you your products requires all phone numbers to be in this format. • I have had a message saying ‘phone number not confirmed’. This is because you have not confirmed that this number belongs to you. We need to safeguard your privacy. Simply follow the instructions given to confirm your number to continue using our service! • I have had a message telling me I don’t have enough credit. I’m afraid we cannot send you products that you have ordered unless you have enough credits in your account (unless of course, you opt to pay by premium rate sms, and that would not be as cost effective as paying by the other payment methods!) please go to our shop to purchase further bundles of credits. |
